My heart is overflowing with love for the Plants, the Spirit beings and my partner with whom I co-create with. These past couple years have been so powerful. The lessons I have been given have themed around having complete trust in my decisions and the trust that the Mother Earth/Universe/Energy will provide all that is needed for us to thrive. If you would have asked me where I would be today I would have shrugged not knowing for I was working with the school district in a neighboring town just a few months ago feeling as though I was on overlooking a precipice to great oceans that nourish life with winds swirling around waiting for me to jump so that I may soar on the up draft.
My life as well as my business, Plant Kindness have listened to the plants that are have been sending me the encouragement. Just last week a friend offered me an assistant nursery manager position at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens in Fort Bragg. If you’ve ever been to the Mendocino Coast you know how breathtaking the views are of the cliffs that reach out to the stunningly beautiful ocean. The gardens at the coast are well known for their rare plant collections and community outreach programs. I couldn’t say no, for it fits my schedule perfectly providing me with the days off to balance my work with Plant Kindness and my volunteer efforts with Herbalists Without Borders.
This past year I’ve been contemplating making Plant Kindness into an Herbal CSA. Being a renter though has kept me hesitant in making it so and created an inner doubt to this dream. Day after day the plants would water me as I watered them with loving encouragement with visual glimpses of their potential and ways they could be of help for many more than just me and my family of friends. These beautiful images still were not enough for me to fully jump in.
After my second day of officially working on the job which so happened to be a new moon in Leo, I came home and Tulsi said I am ready to be medicine. After I finished watering my small collection of plants I went back to the Tulsi basil with a mason jar. With prayers and thanks to this plant that was giving itself selflessly the fresh leaves and flowers went in. Around the garden I went connecting to plants that made it be known that they are going to be in this formula that we were creating. Our Roses danced in the light, and Borage caught my eye. Inside the jar it looked so beautiful. It filled me with love.
Before I could call it good Skullcap, Basil flowers and Stevia made it in. Putting my nose in the jar I was delighted with the aromas, my spirit was now soaring. On an energetic level this vegetable glycerin blend promotes emotional courage. It supports having self-compassion. This cosmic blend will be infused by the Super Moon, supporting you with the energy to keep moving forward, to not be burdened by the work by giving you stamina while soothing your nerves keeping you perky and collected.*
The plants and I made the jump together and are now on the up draft flowing with the energy of the Universe. I am so overjoyed to be sharing this with you today, Plant Kindness will now be a Mobile Herbal CSA/CSH “Community Supported Herbalism”. The plants are willing to be put on wheels when it is time to leave, journeying with us wherever we go. I hope to have a small CSA share available for the fall. Everything that is made is with the seasons and is made in small love batches. More information about how to sign up for a CSA share to come.
Thank you for letting me share this lotus blossoming moment with you.
